FJF staff members went to Monument Elementary School’s Back to School Night on Wednesday, September 21th. FJF set up an information stand with produce samples and re-introduced the Healthy Food Fundraising Club to Monument School parents after the pilot project last June. The New Jersey Partnership for Healthy Kids Trenton Project Coordinator Marrisa Davis was also in attendance as well as Aramark Community Relations and Communications Manager Denise Holguin.
The first distribution for the program will occur on October 7th at 3pm at the Principal’s office and will continue on a bi-weekly basis throughout the year. Order forms will be distributed through the school and are due one week in advance of the order pickup.
A portion of the proceeds will go to Monument School’s Playground Fund!
